Again, I find myself along with my wife, and one of our three children infected with a dangerous virus — COVID-19.
My symptoms are fatigue, sore throat, and fever. Unfortunately, due to my sickness, I cannot send out a newsletter. My health, at this point, is too unstable. I have no idea when fatigue will set in, forcing me to bed for hours of sleep. Since Monday, I have rarely left my bed, and when I do, it’s to use the bathroom. I do have Paxlovid, which will help to take away Covid-19 symptoms.
I just wanted to let you all know. Additionally, continue to wear your masks. It is so helpful. The latest news surrounding Covid-19 is that cases are on the rise again.
Because you won’t hear from me until after the New Year, I want to say thank you to each one of you. Thank you for your support, and the times you have shared The Intersection’s work with other community members. Continue to spread the word that work at The Intersection. We look forward to continuing our reporting on Prince George’s County in unique ways.
Again, thank you.
Hope you feel better soon. Thank you for mentioning this, recommending masks, and mentioning paxlovid. It's important that people speak openly about this to reduce pandemic stigma.
Feel better. We have the stomach crud going around, not COVID, but I’m super fatigued and just have to rest, so the virtual doc said. You all feel better soon.
