The Prince George’s County Public School system is encouraging its staff and students to get involved with Black History Month festivities. PGCPS has offered three ways for its community to get involved.
PGCPS is accepting “creative works” that reflect Black history and culture. Works can be submitted here: digital.visual@pgcps.org. Work can be submitted throughout the entire month, and it will be shared on PGCPS’s social media platforms.
Schools can share their Black History Month event with the school’s communications team here.
The PGCPS community can use #PGCPSBlackStories to tag their Black History Month events and activities on social media. Additionally, they can also upload videos and pictures here.
